Peugeot Invest today announced the sale of its stake in Tikehau Capital Advisors (TCA), Tikehau Capital's main shareholder, to its management, after a 7-year partnership.

As the main asset of TCA, Tikehau Capital has experienced an accelerated development to successfully establish itself as a leading player in alternative asset management since Peugeot Invest's investment in 2016. Tikehau Capital's assets under management have grown almost fourfold to reach € 38.8 billion as of 31 December 2022, driven by the strong performance of the asset management business and a successful strategy of diversification into promising asset classes such as private equity and real assets (real estate, infrastructure).

Alongside the founders, Peugeot Invest, as a shareholder of TCA and Tikehau Capital, accompanied this sustained growth and the build-up of a structured platform, including the listing of Tikehau Capital, international expansion, and fruitful acquisitions.

Peugeot Invest will remain a partner of Tikehau Capital, as a shareholder of the listed company, through co-investments and as an investor in some of its funds.

Robert Peugeot, Chairman of Peugeot Invest, commented: « We are delighted to have played our role as a long-term shareholder by supporting TCA for the past 7 years. The entrepreneurial adventure of Tikehau Capital is based on a solid shareholder base, and we are proud to have supported TCA, alongside the founders and the management team, to make Tikehau Capital a leading alternative asset manager. Peugeot Invest will continue to entertain close ties with the group. »
